KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 -- Piling and foundation specialist, Econpile Holdings Bhd, has bagged an RM26.1 million contract to undertake piling, basement and substructure work for WCity OUG in Taman OUG, Kuala Lumpur.
The contract was awarded by WCT Holding Bhd's (WCT) subsidiary, WCT OUG Development Sdn Bhd.
In a statement, Econpile said the development consists of three residential blocks of 31 storeys, 33 storeys and 43 storeys respectively, one level of recreational facilities, a six-storey podium carpark and a three-storey basement carpark.
“Being able to include WCT into our reputable customer base despite the challenging climate certainly speaks volumes of our expertise and reinforces our position as one of the leading players in piling and substructure works for high-rise buildings.
"With this latest award, our new wins-to-date is boosted to RM104.6 million," said executive director and group chief executive officer Raymond Pang.
He added that its current order book now stands at approximately RM900 million, which would sustain its earnings over the next two years.
