KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 -- In an effort to attract fans to support the Harimau Malaya squad, Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has offered up to 60 per cent discount to bring ticket prices to as low as RM10 for the Tier 1 international friendly match between Malaysia and Tajikistan at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday.
FAM secretary-general Stuart Ramalingam in a statement said the open seating tickets will be priced at RM10 including processing charges (for online purchase) and RM15 for stadium counter purchases, while the Grandstand seat is priced at RM15 including processing charges (online purchases) and RM20 for purchases at stadium counter.
"However, children’s tickets (7-12 years) for online or over-the-counter purchases remain at RM7, with no processing charges imposed," Stuart said.
Fans could purchase the tickets for the friendly match online starting from tomorrow until 11.59pm on Nov 8, while purchases at the stadium counter will be on the match day, he added.
Tickets for Tier 1 International Tournaments usually cost RM20 including the processing charges for online purchases and RM30 for over-the-counter purchases for open seats, while tickets for the main grandstand seat cost RM40 including the processing charges for online purchases and RM50 for purchases at the stadium counter.
Meanwhile, Stuart has confirmed that ticket prices for the two 2022 World Cup / 2023 Asian Cup qualifier matches between Malaysia against Thailand and Indonesia at the National Stadium on Nov 14 and 19 remain as normal.
Ticket prices for open seats are RM30 for online purchases including processing charges and RM40 for stadium counter purchases, while main grandstand ticket prices are RM50 for online purchases including processing charges and RM60 for stadium counter purchases.
