CMSB's Syed Ahmad Alwee to retire

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18  -- Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd’s (CMSB) group executive director, Datuk Syed Ahmad Alwee Alsree will be retiring after serving the group for more than 15 years.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, CMSB said it has implemented a planned, measured and robust succession plan over the last 12 months in preparation for the strategic restructuring.

Syed Ahmad Alwee’s post will be taken over by Datuk Isaac Lugun, who will serve as the group managing director.

“Isaac is highly respected for his leadership skills, business acumen and for his ability to continuously identify strategic business opportunities and convert them into first-mover pivots,” CMSB said.
