KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 -- KNM Group Bhd's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, FBM-KNM FZCO, has accepted a purchase order dated Sept 19, 2019 for the supply of shell and tube heat exchangers-lot-1 for the clean fuel project at the existing major oil refinery in Sriracha, Chonburi, Thailand, amounting to US$5.35 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, KNM said the refinery is operated by Thai Oil Public Company Ltd (“Clean Fuel Project – Thailand”), while the order was received from PSS Netherlands B.V. Sharjah Branch.
“The supply and delivery duration of the transaction is for a period not exceeding 10 months commencing from the date of the purchase order.
“This transaction is additional and if combined with an earlier disclosed contract award received by KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd, another wholly-owned subsidiary company of KNM, it brings the combined contract awards received by KNM to RM75.629 million,” it said.
