For the snatch category, Muhammad Aniq lifted a total of 241 kg to win gold.

At the same time, Muhammad Aniq also broke the junior national record held by Muhammad Syahmi in the same 207 kg event which was set at the National Junior and Senior Weightlifting Championships in Sabah last year.
