KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- Terengganu Football Club’s (TFC) new signing, Mohamad Nabil Ahmad Latpi, is aiming to win at least one of the Malaysian League trophies with the 'Turtles' squad this season.
The former Ultimate FC player, who joined TFC in the second transfer window earlier this month, said he was grateful to be given the opportunity by TFC head coach Irfan Bakti Abu Salim after being dropped by PDRM in 2018 due to his performance.
"It was difficult after being dumped by PDRM. I thought that my dream to play in the Super League will not be achieved. Then I continued to play in the M3 League with Ultimate FC.
"Alhamdulillah, I did not expect TFC to offer me a contract. I know that I cannot give up despite just playing in the amateur league," he said in a statement issued by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) today.
The Pendang-born player, who has a six-month contract with TFC, is aware of the challenging route in the Super League and that he has to fight for a spot in the team's line-up.
At the same time, left winger Mohamad Nabil is excited to be with some highly notable local players such as Mohamad Ashari Shamsudin and Ahmad Syamim Yahya.
