KUALA LUMPUR, May 12 (Bernama) -- Perak’s new import Ronaldo Henrique’s “golden feet” assured Perak a place in the semifinals of the 2019 FA Cup competition.

The last time the ‘Bos Gaurus” were in the semis was in 2016.

In the quarter-finals home leg match at the Perak Stadium here tonight, the Brazilian, who was making his debut for Perak, found the net twice to give the hosts a 2-1 aggregate win against PKNP FC and a spot in the  last four.

The first  leg had ended in a 0-0 draw.

In last night’s action, the 28-year-old scored his first in the 23rd minute from a pass supplied by  Muhammad Shahrel Fikri Md Fauzi from the right of the goal post.

PKNP FC coached by Abu Bakar Fadzim pulled level in the 72nd  minute also through Brazilian import Giancarlo Lopez and were looking at victory on the away goals rule.

But it was not to be as Ronaldo got his brace in the 88th minute.

Perak  will be up against defending champions Pahang in the two-leg semifinals.

Felda United also made it to the last four  despite their second leg quarter-finals tie ending in a goalless draw against Kuala Lumpur at their home turf,  the Tun Abdul Razak Stadium in Jengka, courtesy of the 3-3 result in the first leg.

The ‘The Fighters’ will have to get past 2017 champions Kedah to advance to the final .
