New Richiamo Coffee opens at UiTM Alor Gajah

ALOR GAJAH, Feb 25 (Bernama) – Richiamo Coffee Sdn Bhd, which opened its latest outlet at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Alor Gajah, is currently operating 10 outlets, nationwide, including several outlets which were opened last year in institutions of higher learning.

Managing director Muhamad Zamry Abu Samah said the eleventh outlet would open on March 24 at Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) Mall in Cheras. 

He said the response, thus far, has been very positive as the cafes served premium coffee at affordable prices.

Muhamad Zamry also said outlets opened in university campuses forged strategic ties with Print Channel which offered printing and Internet facilities and a photo studio, all under one roof, for the convenience of university students.

UiTM Melaka branch rector, associate professor Datuk Sabariah Mahat said UiTM was elated at the effort undertaken by both Richiamo Coffee and Print Channel as it involved varsity students in the world of business.

"The Alor Gajah UiTM campus is one of the tertiary institutions which has undertaken the entrepreneurship initiative in tandem with current industry needs,” she said after officially launching Richiamo Coffee and Print Channel here today.

She said the approach would not only help inculcate entrepreneurship values in graduates but also teach them to use the value added skills to generate income.

“Richiamo Coffee and Print Channel is a move initiated by UiTM to enhance the entrepreneurship culture among graduates and to prepare them with the right experience for the job market," she added.
