KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- Carlistbid.my, a brand under Carlist.my has opened its second inspection hub in Glenmarie, Shah Alam to cater to increasing demand for cars, via its auction platform.
According to a statement from iCar Asia Sdn Bhd, the new hub is able to accommodate up to 200 vehicles at any given time, including for inspection, registration and transaction.
“The new inspection hub was our response to cater to the growing demand from consumers and our dealer network. Sellers near Shah Alam and surrounding areas can now easily have their cars inspected and sold,” said iCar Asia chief executive officer, Hamish Stone, in the statement.
Using a simple and effortless process, the public can sell their cars by submitting vehicle information details before they are contacted to arrange for a physical 100-point vehicle inspection. Potential sellers can also inspect their cars during off-business days.
After the evaluation process has been completed, a reserve price will be agreed upon before the online auction is conducted, with the participation of more than 1,500 dealers from Carlist.my’s Trusted Dealer network in the bidding.
Once a car was sold, the transfer documents could be completed on-site by Carlistbid.my’s staff within 30 minutes, the statement said.
Currently, Carlistbid.my has generated more than RM5 million in gross merchandise value with an average of 80 per cent increase month-on-month. For more information, visit www.carlistbid.my.
