Zaquan Adha set to soar with the Red Eagles

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (Bernama) -- National football team captain Zaquan Adha Abd Radzak has joined Kedah for the new Malaysia League (M-League) season.

The Kedah Football Association (KFA) confirmed the signing of the former Kuala Lumpur player in a posting on their Facebook page today.

The Super League side also announced the capture of two foreign imports, who had featured in the Indonesian Liga 1 – Spanish striker Fernando Rodriguez Ortego (Mitra Kukar FC) and Brazilian defender Renan Da Silva Alves (Borneo FC).

They will link up with two imports – Singapore’s Muhammad Shakir Hamzah of Home United FC and Iraqi midfielder Anmar Fares Abdul Jabar Almubaraki (Army United FC, Thailand).

The Red Eagles have also strengthened their squad by signing several local players, including N. Thanabalan (from Negeri Sembilan); Syahrul Azwari Ibrahim (Melaka); Shahrul Igwan Samsudin and Azammuddin Mohd Akil (both Selangor).

Kedah finished sixth in the 2018 Super League season and failed to defend the FA Cup and Charity Shield.
