'Karnival Upin & Ipin 2018' from Dec 20 at MAEPS, Serdang

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's largest children's carnival ‘Karnival Upin & Ipin’ will be held from Dec 20 to 23, 2018 at MAEPS, Serdang.

The carnival theme, ‘Upin & Ipin and Friends’ will be the launching stage of Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd new animated film -- ‘Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal’ (‘Upin & Ipin: The Lone Gibbon Kris’) -- which will be aired in cinemas on March 21, 2019.

Les’ Copaque Games Development Inc will also showcase the film in the form of an app game, a statement said.

Visitors will be able to enjoy shows involving almost 20 mascots performing on stage including ‘Upin, Ipin, dan Kawan-kawan’, ‘Pada Zaman Dahulu’, ‘Puteri’, ‘Upin & Ipin Muzikal’ and  ‘Ultraman Ribut’ from Japan.

They also able to explore the mysterious house, dress up like a princess, wander in the jungle with the jungle dwellers, play with a giant board game with the characters from DaDuDiDo as well as visiting Opah’s House and Mesra Pre-School.

In addition, ‘Upin & Ipin Fun Run’ will be held on Dec 23. Participants will receive a medal and an Upin or Ipin drawstring bag with a special prize. The event is in cooperation with Milo and  UI Trading.
