CFM holds session with telco service providers on consumer issues

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- The Communications and Multimedia Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM) has organised an Knowledge Sharing Session (KSS) with telecommunication service providers and consumer associations on Nov 15 and 16 to exchange information and discuss issues faced by consumers.

The KSS CFM programme with the industry was the fourth edition conducted by CFM in the past four consecutive years since 2015 and it has become a platform to discuss various issues of consumers in the communication industry including fibre service coverage nationwide as well as the issues on contract and price.  

“The KSS programme with industry representatives is one of the initiatives of CFM is different from the KSS with consumers. It focuses more on getting feedback from interested groups on issues burdening customers of telecommunication and multimedia companies in Malaysia.

"Through this programme, CFM is able to find the source of a certain problem and discuss proposals to resolve it,” said CFM chairman Mohamad Yusrizal  Yusoff in a statement today.

The programme was attended by 70 industry representatives.
