KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 (Bernama) -- The exodus has begun for Malaysia Cup runners-up Terengganu FC (TFC), who confirmed on their Facebook page that nine players would leave to join other clubs next season.
They are J.Partiban, Fitri Omar, Muhammad Fauzi Abdul Kadar, Abdul Latiff Suhaimi, Azi Shahril Azmi, Mohd Faiz Mohd Nasir, South Korean import Do Dong Hyun and reserve goalkeepers Muhammad Syazwan Yusoff and Mohd Faizal Yusof.
Partiban is rejoining his home state Perak while Mohd Faiz, who was nicknamed the ‘Terengganu Messi’, is reportedly being eyed by Melaka.
“We wish them all the best for next season,” said TFC, who also finished fifth in the 12-team Super League and made it to the third round of the FA Cup.
