3M launches DIY Auto-care products, ties up with Lazada

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 (Bernama) -- Global science company, 3M Malaysia, has launched a range of professional-grade auto-care products which consumers can use in do-it-yourself (DIY) car care and repair that is cost-saving.

Managing director of 3M Malaysia, Parameswaran Nair said the DIY auto-care kit is easy to use and could give good results without incurring a high cost.

"3M has for long been driving science and innovation in the automotive sector and now we are proud to introduce our range of auto-care products to consumers,” he said at the launch of the products, here, today. 

At the event, 3M also announced its collaboration with Lazada Malaysia and participation of the 3M Automotive flagship store via the e-commerce platform.

Parameswaran said the digital collaboration enabled 3M to market its products to consumers who could make orders at their fingertips.

“Hopefully, the launch of this online store could raise public awareness of our range of car-care products,” he added.

Lazada Malaysia chief executive officer, Christophe Lejeune said the company felt honoured with the participation of 3M Malaysia in LazMall with a shop that focused on auto-care products, hence diversifying its services and product portfolio.

"From today until Oct 19, four auto-care product packages are offered at Lazada with a discount of RM30. The four packages are introduced to help prevent or solve the problems faced by vehicle owners,” he added.
