IPOH, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- The composer of the theme song for the 19th Malaysia Games (Sukma) “Wow! Kita The Greatest” hopes it will become a hit just like the 1998 Commonwealth Games theme song, “Standing In The Eyes Of The World”.
Datuk Wah Abdul Hamid Idris said the song had commercial features that could be highlighted in the local and international music scenes.
“Something unique about this song (is) I love the rhythm, the beat and the melody and also the title itself.
"This is a song for generation Y to show their talents in the world of sports," he told a press conference here today.
Wah Idris, as he is affectionately known, said the song would be sung at the opening of Sukma by Ikhwal Hafiz Ismail or Ewal AF and Rayza Hamizan here tonight.
