Adidas Malaysia continues support for NFDP

KUALA LUMPUR, August 9 (Bernama) -- Adidas Malaysia has continued to support the Mokhtar Dahari National Football Academy (AMD) under the National Football Development Programme (NFDP) with its latest football boots for AMD’s Under-13 (U-13) and Under-14 (U-14) squads.

Its Brands Communications and Sports Marketing manager, Cheng Yik Hoong said Adidas Malaysia was committed to give full support to AMD and had previously supplied the talented young athletes with products and equipment while pledging to continue doing so from time to time.

“We appreciate efforts to groom the potential footballers of the country. We believe they have what it takes to achieve their goals and make the country proud of them.

“With the technology of our products, we hope it will help provide the players of AMD with comfort and power to hone their skills and elevate their training and game,” he said during the launch of Adidas Malaysia latest football boots pack - ‘Team Mode’ here, today.

Also present at today’s event were the U-13 trio -- Hazriq Haqqim Mohd Izham, Rohisham Haiqal Hashim and Mohammad Haykal Danish – who represented Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) U-13 squad in the Memorial Guiseppe Augello V International Championship in Rome, Italy, last June.

Also present were Felcra FC captain, Shahrom Kalam and Muhammad Jafri Firdaus Chew of PKNS FC.

Meanwhile, NFDP chief executive officer, Safirul Azli Abu Bakar said the effort would give positive impact to the youngsters in their quest to be top-notch players in the future.

“I hope this will boost the spirit and enthusiasm of these boys to do well for themselves but more importantly for our country,” he said.
