KUCHING, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- Ahmad Danial Asri helped himself to a brace en route to steering Kuching City FC to a thumping 4-0 Super League win over Imigresen FC at the State Stadium here tonight.
The home team, who opened the scoring in the 29th minute through a powerful shot by Muhammad Ramadhan Saifullah Usman, however, failed to add to their tally in the first half.
Kuching City came back after the break re-energised and revitalised, with Ahmad Danial notching a brace in the 48th and 64th minutes to give his team a comfortable 3-0 lead.
The home team were not done yet, though, as Petrus Shitembi completed the rout with goal number four in the 74th minute.
After five matches, Kuching City occupy fourth spot in the 13-team Super League standings with 10 points (three wins, one draw, one loss); while Imigresen are in 11th place with two points (two draws, three losses).
