Rapid KL Offers E-wallet Rewards Up To RM10 To Feeder Bus Passengers

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 (Bernama) -- Rapid KL bus passengers have the opportunity to redeem Touch ’n Go e-wallet pins up to RM10 just by boarding the feeder bus through the #JomNaikFeeder 2.0 campaign starting today until November 30.

Rapid KL in a statement today announced that every 20 completed journeys entitles passengers to redeem a Touch ‘n Go e-wallet pin worth RM5 while 30 journeys entitles passengers to redeem RM10.

“Passengers only need to register by scanning the QR code provided on the feeder bus and using the same card to collect journeys and the first 1,000 passengers will be selected for redemption,” he said.

The campaign is open to all cashless users using the LRT and MRT feeder bus services for My50 Pass, MyCity, MyTourist, MyRapid Concession Card, OKU Smile and Touch ‘n Go card users.

Rapid KL is targeting a 6.8 per cent growth in ridership over the period compared to the first phase of the campaign which recorded an average bus ridership of 5.5 per cent at the end of last year.

“This campaign clearly demonstrates that feeder buses are increasingly gaining ground as the preferred choice for first-and-last mile travel,” the statement said.

Prasarana Malaysia Berhad Stakeholder Experience Management & Group Marketing acting head Ashok Panchalingam said the success of #JomNaikFeeder 1.0 inspired the company to continue this effort.
