HealWell Expo 2025: A Bigger, Bolder Movement For Community Health, Wellness

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Bernama) -- The HealWell Expo 2025 is set to return for a two-day event starting tomorrow, bringing together communities for a larger and more engaging celebration of health and wellness.

In a statement today, HealWell announced that the event will be held at the MAHSA University Ballroom in Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor. The expo is expected to attract between 2,000 and 3,000 attendees, with doors open from 10 am to 6 pm and free admission for all.

The HealWell Expo will offer approximately 45 health screenings, with 37 of them provided free of charge and the event will feature a broad network of healthcare providers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and wellness partners.

"Originally launched in 2023 as a small-scale community health initiative, HealWell has quickly grown into a dynamic nationwide movement," read the statement.

The expo will introduce two major initiatives: HealWell Kids, which features school-based programmes offering health screenings, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, and workshops designed to promote healthy lifestyles among children.

The second initiative, HealWell Academy, is modelled after a scouts-style programme where young Malaysians can earn badges in nutrition, hygiene, fitness, mental wellness, first aid, and healthcare careers -helping to build lifelong healthy habits and future-ready skills.

"Together, these initiatives extend HealWell’s impact beyond the expo, creating year-long community engagement," the statement added.

Another highlight of the expo will be the HealWell Digital Platform, which allows visitors to navigate screenings and booths, track completed health checks, redeem wellness vouchers and rewards, and stay connected with HealWell initiatives throughout the year.

Meanwhile, HealWell founder Datuk Dr Anitha Haniffa said the initiative aims to remove the fear associated with healthcare and help families view health as supportive, fun, and empowering.

"With HealWell Kids, HealWell Academy, and our digital platform, we’re building a legacy where healthcare becomes part of everyday life," she said. 

Established in 2023, HealWell is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-driven health initiative dedicated to making healthcare accessible, approachable, and engaging for all communities.
