Midea Introduces INSTA-FIT Master Series Refrigerator And Laundry Suite Setting New Benchmark In Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 (Bernama) -- Global home appliances leader, Midea, unveiled its INSTA-FIT Master Series refrigerator and Midea Laundry Suite in Malaysia, setting a new benchmark in modern home appliance technology.

The new lineup is designed to meet the needs of today’s households that value health, hygiene and convenience, featuring sleek design and advanced cleaning technology.

Midea Malaysia managing director Mark Tam said consumers are increasingly looking for appliances that can seamlessly fit into their interiors without compromising on performance.

“The INSTA-FIT Master Series and Laundry Suite are designed to do exactly that, helping families keep their food fresher for longer while simplifying laundry care, all in a sleek and stylish design,” he said in a statement following the product launch at iN Design Lab today.

Meanwhile, Iko In, founder of iN Design Lab, observed that the trend for open, integrated living spaces is driving demand for appliances that blend effortlessly into the home's design.

“The INSTA-FIT Master Series refrigerator and Midea Laundry Suite perfectly reflect this shift in taste,” he emphasised.

One of the key innovations of the INSTA-FIT Master refrigerator is its ability to achieve a flush fit with cabinetry with no installation required, made possible by its shallow depth of 400mm and minimal 4mm clearance.

Designed for today's minimalist kitchens, it has a Shadow Grey finish, a GlowTech illuminated handle, and scratch-resistant surfaces that stay clean and fingerprint-free, as well as a spacious 620L capacity, 90° accessible drawers, and a flexible flip-tray system for easy storage, all complemented by a bright LED light wall.

It features advanced freshness technology, including V-Tech soft-freeze drawers that preserve meat and fish for up to seven days without defrosting. Additionally, the IPL Purify function sterilises packaged food in just three minutes, while the PST+ Plasma Sterilisation technology eliminates odours in nine.

Connected to the SmartHome App, it enables users to control temperature, monitor energy use, receive expiry reminders, and run self-diagnostics from their phone.

The INSTA-FIT Master Series has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the first refrigerator in the market to feature PST+ Plasma Sterilisation with the Highest Level of PST Purification Virus Elimination System as well as odour purification, establishing a standard for disinfection, virus and odour removal in the industry.

Meanwhile, the Midea Laundry Suite offers an ultra-slim washer-dryer combo with a 115-centimetre full-colour touch screen, capable of completing a wash-and-dry cycle in just 35 minutes. 

It is equipped with UV sterilisation, steam cleaning, mite removal and self-cleaning functions for total hygiene care.

The new INSTA-FIT Master Series refrigerator and Midea Laundry Suite will be available in Malaysia on special offer until Nov 30, 2025, with the Insta-Fit 620L French Door Refrigerator priced at RM6,099; Insta-Fit 620L Four Door Refrigerator (RM5,899), and the Laundry Suite at RM7,339.

Visitors to the iN Design Lab can see these high-tech appliances in immersive and interactive real-life home setups, test key features, and discover how they can adapt to different layouts and needs.

The showroom is a design hub for both consumers and interior professionals, demonstrating how Midea's smart technologies seamlessly integrate into diverse lifestyles and home aesthetics.
