PUTRAJAYA, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, along with top management from the Ministry of Education (MOE), will soon visit Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Kota Kemuning, in Shah Alam, to review the issue of overcrowding.
He said the visit would take place either next week or by the end of this month.
“We will be accompanied by the director-general of Education, Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad, and the secretary-general (of MOE), Datuk Dr Aminuddin Hassim,” he said, here, today.
The visit follows concerns raised by a civil servant during the ‘Reformasi Satu Kemestian Bersama KSN’ session, held in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of civil service reform. He claimed that student overcrowding has caused several teachers to experience mental stress, due to increased workload.
