KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysia and Hong Kong see strong potential in developing greater cargo connectivity between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Hong Kong International Airport, guided by the twin-hub model, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
In a Facebook post, he said the matter was among areas of focus during his luncheon meeting with Hong Kong's Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mabel Chan, today.
“We had a productive exchange on strengthening cooperation between Malaysia and Hong Kong in key sectors, especially aviation and maritime,” he said.
Loke added that he shared Malaysia's experience in regulating the e-hailing industry, as Hong Kong's Legislative Council is currently undergoing debate on its own e-hailing legislation.
“I look forward to building on this meaningful dialogue to advance closer collaboration between our two economies,” he said.
