KUANTAN, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- The 2025 Pahang Kita MADANI Carnival kicks off tomorrow at Dewan Sri Ketumbit, Kerdau, Temerloh, offering various activities.
The Pahang Malaysian Information Department (JAPEN), in collaboration with the Temerloh MADANI Community, is organising the event and expects to attract around 1,000 visitors from all segments of society.
In a statement today, JAPEN announced that activities will include services by government and private agencies, product sales by the MADANI Community, a national creative costume contest, a Fun Walk, and community sports events.
Organisers will also conduct a lucky draw worth over RM2,000, a national-themed karaoke competition, and a children’s colouring contest.
Pahang JAPEN director Rohani Chik said the carnival adopts a more relaxed and friendly approach to reach out to the people and strengthen ties between leaders and the community.
“This carnival can help strengthen the spirit of unity among people of different races, religions, and cultures, while also promoting noble values,” she said in the statement.
She said the carnival, which aims to foster patriotism and further strengthen social harmony, is open to the people of Pahang, particularly residents of Temerloh.
