KUANTAN, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today launched the Pahang Skor A+ SPM Road Tour and YASA-UMPSA 2025 Community Tuition Programme at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) in Gambang.

Also present was the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.

In his remarks, Al-Sultan Abdullah wished success to candidates sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination this year.

“I wish you all the best. I hope every candidate will achieve excellent results, A+, nothing less.

“Failure is not an option. Remember, in whatever we do, we must give our best and succeed,” he said before departing the event.

Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA) general manager Mohd Fakhrul Islam Juhali said more than 2,000 SPM candidates from across the state are attending the two-day Skor A+ seminar starting today.

He said the programme, organised by YASA with PTTI Group Sdn Bhd, focuses on study strategies, answering techniques and motivation.

“In line with the Sultan’s aspiration to nurture a knowledgeable and competitive generation, YASA and PTTI have also planned a Skor A+ SPM School Tour Seminar, which will visit 198 secondary schools statewide from January to June 2026,” he said.

He added that the YASA-UMPSA 2025 Community Tuition Programme, run with Yayasan UMPSA, aims to support SPM students in Kuantan and Pekan, especially those from B40 and asnaf families.

“The programme will be held in phases during weekends or evenings at community centres, with the support of UMPSA lecturers, volunteers and local partners,” he said.

Mohd Fakhrul Islam also said Al-Sultan Abdullah’s involvement in the programme reflected his concern for the future of Pahang’s younger generation.

“His Royal Highness’s presence and blessings are an inspiration for Pahang students to strive for excellence in SPM,” he added.
