LANGKAWI, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- National veteran cyclist Mohamed Harrif Saleh has hinted that the Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG), which he has represented since 2011, could be the final team of his professional career.

The 36-year-old, who will be making his 16th appearance in the prestigious Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2025, said he has not made any firm decision about his future but suggested he would remain loyal to the team that has been central to his success.

“I have recorded many memories with TSG, so joining another team is not in my plans,” he told reporters at a press conference today.

Looking ahead to this year’s race, Mohamed Harrif has set his sights on clinching at least one stage victory, with a particular focus on the fourth stage from Kuala Terengganu to Kemaman.

“Of course, every stage presents an opportunity to win, but to do it in my hometown would be a special bonus. It has always been my dream to win there, though it hasn’t happened yet,” he said.

Mohamed Harrif last won a stage at the LTdL in 2019, and he is determined to end the drought this year on home soil.
