Pintas Utama Honoured For Contribution To Malaysian Haj Pilgrims

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- Infrastructure company, Pintas Utama, today received a plaque of appreciation from Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) for its sponsorship of bag sets for Malaysian pilgrims during the 1446H/2025 haj season.

In a statement, the company said the award was presented by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, to Pintas Utama chief executive officer Datuk Ir Marhalim Mohamed at the Haj Operations Thanksgiving Ceremony and Corporate Partner Appreciation Event held here today.

The sponsored bag sets were distributed in phases during the Premier Haj courses.

“For pilgrims in Selangor, the bags were distributed in April at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam.

“This contribution is part of Pintas Utama’s annual initiative to support the needs of haj pilgrims, helping ease their journey during the pilgrimage,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, Marhalim said this third consecutive year of contribution holds special significance for the company, symbolising its strong growth and ability to benefit a broader community, including Muassasah haj pilgrims.

“Though modest, this contribution helps equip pilgrims ahead of their spiritual journey,” he said in the same statement.

In addition to strengthening its position as an experienced player in slope management and infrastructure, Pintas Utama remains consistent in implementing various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including programmes in education, welfare and community support that directly benefit the public.
