The significant event will bring together leaders and delegates from ASEAN member states, Timor-Leste and key dialogue partners including China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK) to address the pressing challenges of transnational crime.

The five-day agenda is packed with preparatory sessions, high-level discussions and crucial consultations aimed at strengthening regional mechanisms as well as fostering closer collaboration in combating various forms of transnational crime.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will officiate the 19th AMMTC which will feature remarks from ASEAN Secretary-General Dr Kao Kim Hourn and Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Ismail Nasution.

The core discussions of the 19th AMMTC will take place on Wednesday with ministers and delegates engaging in comprehensive dialogues covering 24 agenda items on transnational crime, while bilateral meetings held throughout the day will allow for focused discussions between member states.

AMMTC leaders and their spouses will be offered a cultural experience on a relaxing Melaka River Cruise, while other delegates are free to explore the city's rich heritage.
