KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim extended a contribution to a Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) veteran in Pahang as a gesture of appreciation for his service and sacrifices to the country.
The contribution and a food basket were presented to Juhari Sinjak, 79, by Anwar’s political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, who visited the veteran at his residence in Kampung Paya Keladi, Pahang.
“Although he (Juhari Sinjak) is now partially paralysed, he remains steadfast in going through his daily life. This ‘Ziarah MADANI’ visit is not merely a courtesy call, but a symbol of love and appreciation for his service and sacrifice in protecting the country’s peace.
“May this small assistance help ease his burden and serve as proof that the sacrifices of our veterans are always valued and never forgotten,” Ahmad Farhan said in a Facebook post today, which was also shared on Anwar’s Facebook page.
