PUTRAJAYA, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to deliver the National Day 2025 address on Aug 30 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).
National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said the event is part of efforts to convey the government’s aspirations and hopes on the importance of embracing the spirit of unity and fostering patriotism among Malaysians.
He said this year’s theme, ‘Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni’, underscores that every Malaysian, regardless of race, religion, culture or background, is a national asset that must be appreciated, respected and embraced in the spirit of togetherness.
“The Prime Minister’s address is expected to provide fresh inspiration for Malaysians to remain united, value the sacrifices of past generations and appreciate the true meaning of independence in the context of present-day challenges,” he said in a statement today.
Aaron said about 5,000 guests, including civil servants, religious leaders, unity machinery, school students, uniformed personnel, university students, youths, entrepreneurs and private sector employees, are expected to attend the event to further instil the spirit of independence, especially among the younger generation.
