Coach Tells TFC To Steal Three Points From The Red Giants

KUALA NERUS, Aug 26 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) head coach Badrul Afzan Razali has reminded his men to be wary of Selangor FC's rise ahead of their Super League match at Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium (MBPJ), in Kelana Jaya tomorrow night.

Badrul Afzan said The Red Giants will definitely present their best performance to bring home three points after narrowly losing 1-2 to Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) last Sunday.

Following that, he urged the Turtles to remain focused and play according to plan so that they can bring home victory for loyal TFC supporters.

"We all know Selangor FC are among the best teams with quality players and are feared by opponents.

"This is our last match before taking a break to make way for international matches. So I hope the players are more focused and can bring home three points...or at least one point," he said when contacted today.

Meanwhile, Badrul Afzan said all the players were in good condition and ready to be fielded except for import striker Gabriel Da Costa who suffered a hamstring injury while Muhammad Ubaidullah Shamsul Fazili was called up to join the Under-23 Squad (B-23).

However, he is still reminding the players to be careful in controlling their emotions to avoid being issued with a red card like in the match against DPMM FC last Friday.

"We have a slight advantage in terms of rest time because Selangor just went through the match last Sunday compared to our last match last Friday.

"So there is no excuse for the players not to give their best performance for TFC to steal three points as the away team," he said.
