KOTA BHARU, Aug 22 (Bernama) -- Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) are bracing for a tough Super League test as they take on Sabah FC at Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu tomorrow night.
TRW head coach E. Elavarasan described Sabah as an experienced and formidable side, noting the difficulty of securing points away from home.
“Sabah has long competed in the Super League. It won’t be easy to get points at Likas,” he told Bernama today.
He said Sabah’s mix of seasoned local and foreign players adds further strength to the squad and presents a serious challenge.
TRW currently sit 12th in the league with one point from two matches, while Sabah are eighth with one point from a single game.
Elavarasan hopes to build on the team’s momentum following their recent FA Cup victory over Kuala Lumpur City FC.
“My focus has been on improving performance and cohesion. The Super League is very competitive, and we must cut out small errors that give opponents chances,” he added.
