Anwar Announces Initial RM100,000 Allocation For RXZ Members 7.0 Programme

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 (Bernama) -- The MADANI government will allocate an initial RM100,000 to support the RXZ Members 7.0 2025 Programme, which will be held on Aug 23 at the Gong Badak Motor Circuit in Terengganu.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said further discussions on additional support will be held with the organisers next week.

He said the MADANI government recognises the role and contributions of the motorcycling community as a catalyst for unity, a builder of camaraderie, and a key contributor to local economic development through various high-impact activities.

“I express my full support for the organisation of the RXZ Members 7.0 2025 Programme. This programme serves as a key platform to bring together motorcycle enthusiasts and the motorcycling community from across the country, while elevating the potential of the motorcycling industry to greater heights,” he said in a statement today.

To ensure smooth operations and safety throughout the programme, he said the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has been instructed to provide the necessary assistance and security control.

Anwar also reminded participants and organisers to observe traffic rules, act responsibly, and fully cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth operations and safety throughout the event.

“In the spirit of National Month, I also call on all participants to fly the Jalur Gemilang as a symbol of pride and love for the country.

“May this programme not only serve as a positive motorcycling platform but also as a medium to strengthen national unity and the spirit of patriotism among Malaysians,” he said.

The Prime Minister added that the government will continue to support community initiatives that deliver shared benefits, strengthen unity, and foster a positive, safe and progressive motorcycling culture for the nation’s prosperity.
