KOTA BHARU, Aug 8 (Bernama) --The people of Kelantan should seize the opportunity to explore the advancements in science, technology, and innovation showcased during the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025 in order to enhance productivity and improve their quality of life.

Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) secretary-general Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad said the services and products available span various sectors, including agriculture, plantations, fisheries, and more, offering the public a chance to utilise the latest technology.

He said MOSTI provides solutions and opportunities that can significantly improve these sectors, as some solutions to existing challenges are already available, but are not widely known to the public or those within the relevant fields.

“They believe that what they are doing is the best, as it brings profit and progress, but by integrating science and technology, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), drones, and more, productivity and income can be increased,” he told Bernama, after visiting government and private agency booths at Kelantan PMR 2025 exhibition at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here today.

Meanwhile, one of the visitors, Ab Wahab Mokhtar, 44, said the programme, themed 'Science, Technology and Innovation for the Well-Being of the People', is very relevant for the people of the state as it enhances their knowledge, especially in the use of advanced technology.

The three-day Kelantan PMR 2025, which runs until tomorrow, is led by MOSTI in collaboration with the Implementation Coordination Unit, Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM), and supported by various other ministries and government agencies.

The programme offers over 100 services to the public, showcases the latest technology, and presents various initiatives to engage with the community through the comprehensive MADANI Government approach.
