BEIJING, Oct 11 (Bernama) -- The 2025 National Sports Day (HSN) celebration at the Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing served as a platform to strengthen unity among Malaysians abroad while promoting a healthy lifestyle, said Malaysia’s Ambassador to China, Datuk Norman Muhamad.
He said the hosting of HSN 2025 at the embassy had reinforced the spirit of togetherness and highlighted the active and harmonious lifestyle that defines the Malaysian identity.
“May HSN 2025 be a catalyst for an energetic lifestyle, stronger unity, and a resilient spirit for our beloved Malaysia,” he said when officiating the HSN 2025 celebration at the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing on Saturday.
Among the activities held included aerobics, badminton, table tennis, and – for the first time – an e-game, FC25.
In addition, a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) service counter was set up.
Nearly 120 Malaysians, including embassy staff and their families, students, and members of the Malaysian diaspora attended the event.
National Sports Day has been celebrated on the second Saturday of October since 2015 to promote and encourage participation in sporting activities within the community as part of an active and healthy lifestyle.
