KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- Grab Malaysia has launched a patriotic music video titled “Keranamu Malaysia" in conjunction with National Day, honouring the Malaysians who have built, shaped and powered the platform, while celebrating the innovation, collaboration, unity and resilience that define #GrabBersamaMalaysia.

In a statement, Grab Malaysia said the music video, which premiered on August 24, underscored the company's commitment to fostering a thoughtful, inclusive and data-driven approach to technology, one that empowers communities without stifling innovation.

It stated that the video highlighted how Grab's services, including Family Account, Group Order and GrabMaps, along with its sister companies GXBank and Jaya Grocer, were designed with Malaysians in mind, reflecting the everyday needs and aspirations of the community.

The statement described "Keranamu Malaysia" as a powerful reminder that every journey, meal and shared moment on Grab is powered by Malaysians, for Malaysians.

Meanwhile, Head of Marketing at Grab Malaysia Ko Li Ping said “Keranamu Malaysia” celebrates the extraordinary Malaysians who have shaped Grab into what it is today, adding that the music video is the company's way of honouring their spirit and daily contributions to Malaysia's progress.

“The spotlight is on the people behind the innovations you see on Grab: our driver- and delivery-partners and the talented teams who map roads, build and localise Grab’s technology features, making the platform work for everyone,” she said in the same statement.

Besides the music video, Grab was proud to partner with Tourism Malaysia to celebrate the country’s heritage and culture. This partnership inspires Malaysians and tourists to explore Malaysia through various means, such as using Grab rides to visit places or GrabFood to discover Malaysia’s culinary gems.

This partnership also extends to the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, where Grab will collaborate with Tourism Malaysia to promote culinary experiences and attract corporate partners to showcase Malaysia globally.

“To make these adventures even more accessible, Grab is rolling out a variety of exclusive National Day deals and promotions across its platform. From discounts on local brands to savings on Malaysian delicacies delivered to your doorstep, Grab is making it easier for everyone to celebrate and experience the best of what Malaysia has to offer this National Day season,” the statement said.

To celebrate National Day 2025, Grab Malaysia will participate in the national parade in Putrajaya and in state parades in Johor Bahru, Johor; Kota Kinabalu, Sabah; Kuantan, Pahang and Penang on August 31.

"This year, Grab is uniting its driver and delivery partners with employees from Grab Malaysia, GXBank, and Jaya Grocer to showcase the innovative and community-driven spirit at the heart of its platform," according to the statement.

Grab's participation underscores its commitment to the people who drive its success, including its hardworking drivers, delivery partners and the dedicated teams that localise its technology for Malaysians.

Adding to the excitement, Grab Malaysia will host a booth at the National Day Parade in Putrajaya, offering engaging activities such as lucky draws, exclusive merchandise giveaways and vouchers to make the celebration even more memorable.
