KANGAR, Aug 26 (Bernama) -- Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek has assured that repair work on the damage at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Seri Perlis here due to a storm yesterday evening, will be carried out immediately.
She said the repair would cost RM370,000.
In a post on her Facebook today, Fadhlina said she had received a report on the damage to the school, which affected the roofs of several buildings housing classrooms and other facilities, as well as the electrical wiring system.
"Cleaning work is in progress and will be completed by tomorrow at the latest, depending on the weather conditions," she said.
