KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a severe weather warning involving thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in six states until 2 am tomorrow (July 21, Monday).
According to a MetMalaysia statement, the warning involves the states of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and several districts in Perak, namely Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung and Bagan Datuk.
“Also affected will be several areas on the East Coast involving Kelantan (Kota Bharu, Bachok, Machang and Pasir Puteh) and Terengganu (Besut and Setiu),” said the statement.
