KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 (Bernama) -- Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar has invited the public to attend the Malaysia Bermunajat event at the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya tomorrow.
Mohd Na’im said the special event, scheduled from 6 pm to 9 pm, will also be attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“Malaysia Bermunajat serves as a platform to reconnect with Allah SWT, seek forgiveness and pray for peace, unity and blessings for our beloved country.
“It also symbolises the unity of the ummah in upholding the Malaysia MADANI agenda, which is founded on the values of ihsan (compassion) and human well-being,” he said in a statement today.
The programme includes congregational Maghrib and Isyak prayers, solat hajat, a religious lecture (bayan) by Maulana Tariq Jamil, and a special address by the Prime Minister.
“I urge all Malaysians, regardless of background, to come together to enliven this house of worship, strengthen our spiritual resilience and reinforce unity through prayer and worship,” he added.
