Over 300 Skincare, Baking Brands Featured At Malaysia Health & Beauty And Pastry Expo  2025

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) – The three-day Malaysia Health & Beauty Expo and Malaysia Pastry Expo 2025 which kicked off on June 27 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC) successfully gathered over 300 prominent brands and welcomed a crowd of more than 150,000 visitors.

The opening ceremony of the expo, also graced by several celebrity guests including supermodel Amber Chia, influencer Emely Poon, actress Inthira and wellness personality Dr. Zyro, was officiated by Koperasi Pasaraya Malaysia Berhad Deputy Chairman Datuk Ismail Nordin.

Ismail in his remarks said the expo organised by Tastefully Malaysia not only showcased corporate innovation but also highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit of Malaysians in the health, beauty, and pastry industries.

“I hope this event continues to grow and becomes a catalyst for supporting SMEs and promoting a healthier lifestyle nationwide,” he said at the expo that was also attended by Tastefully Business Development Director Jin Lee and Tastefully founder Esther Fong.

Meanwhile, Jin Lee said for the past 14 years, Tastefully has been building a lifestyle platform that connects brands and consumers.

“This year marks our first time combining the Health & Beauty Expo with the Pastry Expo, featuring more than 300 brands across wellness, skincare, aesthetics and baking making it the first hybrid expo of its kind in Malaysia,” she said.

She emphasised that the event is more than just a product showcase but it is a journey of healing, innovation and community.

“The health & beauty zone offered 10 immersive experience zones, including health screenings, skincare, haircare, facials, and holistic healing, with exclusive gifts for visitors who complete all experiences.

Fong on the other hand said that the expo featured over 100 dessert and baking brands, and was highlighted by Malaysia’s largest Cake Party, combined with live DJ sets and music for an energetic ‘Pastry Rave’.

“More meaningfully, all proceeds from the Cake Party will be donated to Pink Unity, a breast cancer support association aiding women on their healing journey. We hope people will not only indulge in sweets but also spread love and awareness,” she said.

The whole event was packed with activities, including 1,000 limited gift bags given away daily; Lucky draws at 3 pm and 8 pm daily with over 200 prizes; Health Talks at the Main Stage; Dental Wellness Talk by Dr Tong; Beauty & Wellness Talk by Dr Jason and RedNote Content Creator Challenge attracting over 100 local influencers to create buzz and visibility online.
