KUANTAN, June 28 (Bernama) -- The Al-Falah MADANI 2025 Carnival has attracted more than 10,000 visitors since its launch yesterday, according to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar.

Organised by the Prime Minister’s Department through the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), the event is being held at Masjid Jamek Berserah.

Mohd Na’im said more attendees are expected tomorrow, the final day of the carnival, which will include the Musa’addah Al-Falah MADANI contribution programme, involving the distribution of food baskets to 300 asnaf in the area.

“I encourage the public to attend and benefit from this inclusive programme,” he told reporters after officiating the event today.

He described the carnival as a holistic platform that combines educational elements with exhibitions by various federal and state agencies.

“We hope to bring this initiative to other states after its debut here in Berserah,” he said.

In his opening remarks, Mohd Na’im said the carnival fosters unity, counters extremist ideologies and promotes an understanding of Islam rooted in compassion and well-being.

“Everyone, from children and youth to parents and the elderly, has a place here. That’s what makes this approach meaningful,” he said.
