KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 (Bernama) -- Various issues including the lack of essential infrastructure such as health clinics and congestion problems around Bandar Tun Razak are among the matters that will be included in the 13th Malaysia Plan (MP13) report.
Member of Parliament for Bandar Tun Razak, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the results of the Public Engagement Session for the MP13 held today also highlighted the lack of recreational parks around the area.
“We are here to hear feedback that we can incorporate into the MP13. We heard earlier that there are fewer problems with dengue fever, health, ‘crowding’ and sports facilities.
"We often promote healthy lifestyle practices, which is why there needs to be more recreational parks," she said.
She said this to reporters after the closing ceremony of the Public Engagement Session for the Drafting of the 13th Malaysia Plan for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, held at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Training Institute, Bandar Tun Razak here today.
Meanwhile, Wan Azizah said in her speech that today's session is very important so that the voices and grievances of the people at all levels can be examined by the government and brought up for consideration.
She also hoped that the session could gather various perspectives to be studied and proposed to the Ministry of Economy.
The media previously reported that the Economy Ministry was finalising the preparation of the MP13 document, which is expected to be presented in Parliament this month.
The MP13 document is scheduled to be presented in the Dewan Rakyat on July 31 by the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the Minister of Finance.
The MP13, which sets the direction for national development for the period from 2026 to 2030, is the first document drafted by the MADANI Government under Anwar's administration as the 10th Prime Minister.
