According to a statement, UmHajGo provides a smarter, faster and stress-free way for pilgrims to plan independently without being limited by fixed travel packages.

One of the app’s standout features is its real-time crowd detection system, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor congestion levels at places of interest, as well as real-time 3D maps and augmented reality (AR) guidance to help users confidently find their way.
Additionally, the app also includes an e-locator feature that enables family members to track the locations of their loved ones, providing reassurance and enhancing safety throughout the journey.
Travellers can book flights, accommodations and essential services directly within the app, removing the hassle of juggling multiple booking platforms.
Additional features such as digital will planning and Takaful travel insurance provide both financial security and spiritual preparedness, the statement said.
Looking ahead, UmHajGo will expand its offering with 360-degree virtual reality previews of holy sites and a Syariah-compliant e-commerce platform for travel essentials, further enriching the pilgrimage experience.
To celebrate the launch, new users who download UmHajGo between July 1 and 31 will enjoy one month of free premium access to all UmHajGo features upon registration.
The app supports multiple languages, including Malay, Indonesian and English, ensuring accessibility for users across Southeast Asia.
