KUALA LUMPUR, April 20 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, in line with the firmer cash market.
The April 2026 contract rose 9.5 points to 1,698.0, May 2026 improved 10 points to 1,699.0, June 2026 climbed 10.5 points to 1,699.0, and September 2026 gained 10 points to 1,679.5.
Turnover surged to 8,278 lots from 5,410 lots on Friday last week, while open interest increased to 40,887 contracts from 38,257 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 7.09 points, or 0.42 per cent, to 1,702.30 from last Friday’s close of 1,695.21.
