LAS VEGAS, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- US-based cloud company Snowflake today announced that it has deepened strategic partnerships with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Anthropic and Accenture to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) services and capabilities.
In a statement, Snowflake said it has reached a major milestone in its collaboration with AWS, doubling its transaction growth on AWS Marketplace year-on-year to exceed US$2 billion (US$1=RM4.11) in sales in a calendar year.
“Building on this milestone, Snowflake has leveraged AWS Marketplace to reach and serve customers by accelerating adoption, simplifying procurement and fueling global growth,” it said.
Snowflake chief revenue officer Mike Gannon said both companies have built one of the strongest collaborations in the cloud industry today, helping organisations modernise faster and unlock new value from their data.
“Crossing the US$2 billion mark in AWS Marketplace and being recognised as a leading global partner reflects how deeply our innovations resonate with customers in the AI era.
“The seamless integration between Snowflake’s fully managed data and AI platform with AWS services is accelerating our growth and empowering customers to transform their businesses in the age of AI,” he said.
The statement was released in conjunction with AWS re:Invent 2025 here.
In a separate statement, Snowflake and Anthropic announced a US$200 million strategic partnership expansion to bring agentic AI to global enterprises.
Snowflake said this next phase of collaboration is focused on deploying state-of-the-art AI agents on Snowflake capable of handling multi-step analysis, powered by Anthropic’s Claude and its advanced reasoning capabilities, as well as its ability to handle sensitive data securely.
“This enables understanding extensive context across financial, operational, and customer data, among others, reasoning through it carefully, and showing their work rather than just retrieving an answer.
“By combining Claude’s reasoning with Snowflake’s governed data and AI environment, customers in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, and life sciences can move from pilots to production with confidence,” Snowflake said.
Meanwhile, Snowflake also announced a partnership with Accenture via the launch of Accenture Snowflake Business Group to drive enterprise reinvention through business models that harness the power of cloud, AI, and data, anchored by Accenture AI Refinery, Snowflake Intelligence, and Snowflake Cortex AI.
Snowflake chief executive officer Sridhar Ramaswamy said the partnership with Accenture has empowered hundreds of organisations to unlock AI’s potential and reveal previously unimaginable insights.
He said the Accenture Snowflake Business Group combines Accenture’s industry-leading business reinvention experience with Snowflake’s enterprise-ready, easy, connected, and trusted platform.
“This collaboration enables enterprises to achieve their full potential with AI and data, transforming how they harness data to build next-generation AI-powered applications, drive better decision-making, and maximise their data's potential for AI innovation,” he said in a separate statement.
As part of the Accenture Snowflake Business Group, the companies will jointly invest in establishing a global centre of excellence, where specialised Accenture and Snowflake teams will work side-by-side with clients to rapidly apply the latest technologies and co-create new assets and solutions.
