BUTTERWORTH, Oct 22 (Bernama) -- The Penang police arrested four individuals to facilitate investigations into a murder case involving a body found stuffed in a suitcase near Ampang Jajar Flats, Permatang Pauh here on Oct 9.
Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail said two men and two women, 24 to 32, were arrested seperately in several locations in the state and in Perak yesterday.
"I confirm the arrest of the four individuals and they have been remanded for seven days to faciliate investigations into the murder case.
"I will release information on the arrests and case developments in a media conference tomorrow at the Penang police contingent headquarters,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
The body in the suitcase was previously identified as being that of Lee Boon Han, 31, an insurance agent who was reported missing by his family on Oct 8.
