‘Pilihan Raya MYDIN 2025’ Campaign Offers RM6.8 Mln In Rewards, Discounts

KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Bernama) -- Concerned about the economic challenges faced by Malaysians, Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (MYDIN), the country’s largest halal retail and wholesale chain, has launched the Pilihan Raya MYDIN 2025 Campaign.

MYDIN, in a statement today, said the campaign themed “Pilihan Rakyat, Harga Rakyat” offers Malaysians a wide range of attractive rewards and exclusive discounts, including promotions such as “Janji PWP Ditepati” and “Manifesto Ahli Meriah”, with total benefits worth up to RM6.8 million.

With 26 parliamentary and 85 state seats “contested”, MYDIN customers can “vote” for their favourite brands in a campaign that captures the excitement of a real election.

“Customers can vote via the MYDIN Rewards application, with the brand receiving the highest number of votes earning the title YB (Yang Berharga).

“The voting mechanism for this campaign is simple, each purchase of a product from a participating brand at any MYDIN outlet counts as one physical vote, while from Sept 1 to 16, 2025, customers can also cast their votes online via the MYDIN Rewards app,” it said.

MYDIN has also introduced three key initiatives under the campaign, one of which is “Ganjaran Rakyat”, where voters using the MYDIN Rewards app from Sept 1 to 16 stand to earn vouchers and cashback worth more than RM400,000.

“In addition, from July 25 to Oct 5, 2025, customers who shop using selected e-wallets such as Atome, Boost, MCash, SPayLater, Shopback and Setel will enjoy discounts and cashback worth up to RM300,000 at all MYDIN supermarkets under the ‘Cashback Rakyat’ initiative.

“The third initiative is ‘Rezeki Rakyat’, where customers who vote for their preferred products will have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive promotions and discounts worth up to RM1.68 million, including participation in contests with competing brands and ‘Cash Out’ games via MYDIN Pay,” said MYDIN.

The campaign runs from July 24 to Oct 6 at all MYDIN branches and online platforms, with the election results to be announced on Sept 18. Further details are available at www.mydin.my or via MYDIN Malaysia’s official social media pages.
