KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31-- MYTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd (MYTV) will undertake a readjustment of frequency on Feb 4 and 6 to upgrade its digital broadcasting services.
In a statement issued today, the broadcaster said readjustment works which will only involve its second frequency, will take place at both its transmission stations located in Fraser's Hill and Gunung Ulu Kali, on Feb 4 and 6 respectively. The readjustment will be undertaken from 1 am to 6 am on both days.
In connection with this, MYTV advised customers to set their decoders or integrated digital television (IDTV) sets on 'standby' mode.
In the event that subscribers experience transmission problems after the readjustment period, the broadcaster advised that they reset their decoders or IDTV sets automatically or manually.
For manual resets, users are advised to check the new frequency at https://www.mytvbroadcasting.my/pdf/Lists-of-frequency.pdf.
Updates on the adjustment works will be made available on MYTV's Facebook page and website, while subscribers may also contact customer service at 1800-18-1088.
