PUTRAJAYA, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change now prefers to be known by its acronym, MESTECC.
Its Corporate Communication Unit in a statement today said, from now on, any official business should use MESTECC in reference to the ministry.
After the 14th General Election (GE14), the entire component of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), the energy and green technology sector of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) and the Environment Management and Climate Change Division of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) have been restructured to form the MESTECC.
According to the statement, the MESTECC’s Science and Technology Sector is currently located at the Complex C of the Federal Government Administrative Centre here, while its Energy and Environment Sector is located at Parcel E.
