KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, moving in contrast to the cash market.
At 9.55 am, the April 2026 contract fell four points to 1,722.0, while the May 2026 and June 2026 contracts eased 4.5 points each to 1,721.5 and 1,720.0, respectively. The September 2026 contract slipped 2.5 points to 1,703.5.
Turnover stood at 7,149 lots, while open interest totalled 57,266 contracts.
After the first trading hour, the FBM KLCI fell 5.93 points to 1,723.67 versus Tuesday’s close of 1,729.60.
