KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.
At the close, April 2024, May 2024 and September 2024 contracts eased 3.5 points to 1,560.0, 1,561.5, and 1,550.0, respectively, while June 2024 slid 4.5 points to 1,560.5.
Turnover surged to 18,368 lots compared to 8,961 on Monday, while open interest improved to 59,536 contracts from 49,207 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.05 points to 1,561.64 from Monday's close of 1,559.59.
